The Leadville Loppet is open to Freestyle (skate)
and Classic Skiing in the 10k, 22k, and 44k.
Results will be split into age categories.

CHECK-IN/BIB PICK-UP/TIMING CHIP ASSIGNMENT
Saturday morning check-in is 7-8:45am (don’t be late!) for bib and timing chip pickup. Located in the KW room of the New Climax Building at CMC, on the south side of the parking area, east of the start/finish.
NO 44, 22, 10k REGISTRATION SATURDAY!!!
WAX CLINIC
Friday, February 22 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Cloud City Ski Club
Bring your gear, this is a hands on clinic. The ski hut is located at the base of Dutch Henry Tubing Hill right off of Hwy 24. Printable PDF directions are availiable here.

RACE MAP

RACE START/FINISH
On the soccer field to the south of the parking lots at CMC.
Also, be sure to check out our world famous blueberry soup at the finish. Mmm, very delicious and nature’s perfect recovery drink!
All racers must be at start area prior to start time by 9:00 for mandatory racer meeting.
44k start 9:15 am
22k start time 9:45 am
10k start time 10:00 am
5k start time??? Whenever the party gets started! Probably around 10:30.
AID STATIONS
Aid stations throughout the course will be providing water, sports drink, gels, bars, and fruit. Aid Station locations:
- 10k: 7k, finish
- 22k: 7k, 12k, 15k, 19k, finish
- 44k: 7k, 12k, 15k, 19k, 22k, 26k, 29k, 32k, 37k, finish
CUT-OFF TIME
44k racers reaching the Animal Shelter turnaround after 12:15 pm will be asked to surrender their bib and will be given the option to ski back and short finish or shuttle back to the college. Official timing will be cut off at 2:30. If you don’t think you can finish the 44k in less than 5 hours, please choose a shorter event. This is for your safety and our sanity!
AWARDS and RESULTS
Awards will be held in the Climax Molybdenum Leadership Center starting at around 1 PM. Awards will be offered to the top 3 finishers in each category. Final results will have age categories listed.
The awards banquet will feature home made soups, chili, and assorted goodies donated by community members. YUM!
